The month of March at Oakland Grange has been filled with pampering, celebrations, friendly competition, and delightful surprises.
Week 1:
Our residents indulged in some well-deserved pamper time with nail treatments, adding a touch of glamour and self-care to their week. In addition to pampering, our residents turned handball into a serious workout routine, with Sofia leading the charge. It’s inspiring to see our residents staying active and healthy! Oakland Grange buzzed with life as the seeds we planted finally sprouted up like there was no tomorrow!
Week 2:
We celebrated Mother’s Day with heartfelt celebrations, ensuring our residents felt cherished and appreciated in every way. Together, we engaged in various activities, including crafting vibrant paper flower bouquets with the help of our wonderful staff team. In addition to our Mother’s Day celebrations, we were once again overwhelmed by the kind words of gratitude from a grateful relative, reminding us of the positive difference we make in the lives of our residents and their families.
Week 3:
Monday morning kicked off with residents singing and dancing to their favourite tunes with the team. Music brought joy and laughter to our home, making the world a little brighter. Get ready for some friendly competition as Margaret, Peggy, and Pamela go head-to-head in an epic Scrabble tournament right here at Oakland Grange. Residents also enjoyed a round of Trivial Pursuit, full of brain teasers and challenges, bringing them together for a fun and stimulating time.
Week 4:
St. Patrick’s Day saw the enjoyment of some Irish delights! Glasses of Guinness and Bailey’s were thoroughly enjoyed by all, and David treated us to a delicious Irish-themed lunch. Happy Birthday to Pat! We hope your special day was filled with joy and laughter.
