March has been a month full of laughter, creativity, and wonderful experiences at Oakland Court!
We kicked things off with a delightful lunch trip to The Fox pub, where residents savoured delicious meals, shared stories, and enjoyed the change of scenery. The fresh air and great company made for a perfect afternoon. A visit to the beach was another highlight, where the fresh air and sea breeze brought smiles to everyone’s faces.
Back at home, Arts & Crafts sessions were in full swing, with residents painting adorable kittens and getting creative for St. Patrick’s Day, making leprechaun hats to bring a festive spirit to our home. We celebrated in true Irish style, enjoying a delicious meal, Irish cheesecake, and a glass of Guinness, all topped off with a mesmerizing magic show from Dave the Magician!
Our residents also embraced their competitive side with Bean Bag Alley and tablet games, where friendly competition filled the room with cheers and laughter. Knit & Knatter brought everyone together for a cosy session of crafting and conversation, working towards a beautiful handmade blanket.
Music played a big role in our month, with Geoff Valentino giving an unforgettable performance that had everyone singing. And for those looking to unwind, our cinema afternoons provided the perfect setting for relaxation with great films and even greater company.
As March comes to a close, we look forward to even more joyful moments and exciting activities in the months ahead. Here’s to making more wonderful memories at Oakland Court!
