Oakland Care Group Supports JUST ONE Tree
We’re proud to share that Oakland Care Group’s forest has now reached 698 trees!
Through our partnership with JUST ONE Tree, we’ve recently planted another 181 trees across reforestation projects in Brazil, Madagascar, and Kenya, as well as supporting kelp regeneration off the coasts of the Philippines and Australia.
This isn’t just about numbers. These trees create rural employment, provide homes for wildlife and marine life, and will absorb approximately 215 tonnes of CO2 as they grow.
Salome, a tree planter in Kenya, shared how looking after seedlings has become a source of livelihood that helped her send her first-born son to college. It’s a powerful reminder that environmental action and social impact go hand in hand.
