Oakland Care Group is committed to environmental responsibility alongside quality care. Through our partnership with JUST ONE Tree, we plant a tree for every month a resident occupies one of our rooms.
Our forest has now reached 852 trees, with the latest addition of 154 trees supporting reforestation projects in Brazil, Madagascar, and Kenya, as well as kelp regeneration off the coasts of the Philippines and Australia.
As our forest grows, it will absorb approximately 262 tonnes of CO2. Beyond the environmental impact, these projects create rural employment and restore habitats for wildlife and marine life.
