The month of April at Oakland Grange has been filled with pampering, delightful activities, celebrations, and moments of joy.

Week 1:
Week 1 kicked off with residents indulging in a delightful Hot Cross Bun Tasting, exploring a variety of flavours that tantalised their taste buds. Led by Maria, our Book Club delved into captivating discussions on “The Wonderful World of James Herriot,” sparking lively conversations. Embracing the Easter spirit, residents crafted homemade Easter wreaths and were delighted with a special visit from the Easter Bunny. The week ended with an Easter Bonnet Contest, adding an extra dose of excitement to our celebrations.
Week 2:
The fun continued with Flower Arranging sessions that brought out the creativity in our residents, as they crafted beautiful floral arrangements. We celebrated a special milestone as George turned 80, with days filled with celebrations and cherished memories. Geoff’s Musical Performance enchanted everyone with his enthralling tunes, while a lively Karaoke Afternoon brought residents together for a fun-filled singing session.
Week 3:
Residents were treated to Musical Delights with Leila, who filled our home with catchy beats and timeless classics. Artsy Adventures brought out the inner artists in our residents as they expressed their creativity on canvas. Malcolm and friends from the church spread joy with their warm presence, while Cream Bun Fun added a delicious touch to our week. Darlene and Pat enjoyed a picturesque Beach Day, accompanied by hot chocolate treats, creating memories to cherish.
Week 4:
We had another burst of creativity with our flower-arranging sessions, adding a touch of beauty to our home. Joyce had a delightful seaside adventure, while Penny from Creative Talks shared a captivating presentation, sparking interesting discussions. Residents indulged in a sophisticated tea-tasting experience, exploring a variety of flavours that delighted the senses, accompanied by delicious homemade brownies.
