We’re thrilled to share that our Oakland Care Group forest has grown by another 153 trees, bringing our total to an incredible 345 trees! More than just numbers, these trees are creating rural employment, providing homes for wildlife and marine life, and will absorb approximately 106.26 tonnes of CO2 as they grow.
We’re proud to support reforestation projects in countries like Brazil, Madagascar, and Kenya, as well as kelp regeneration off the coasts of the Philippines and Australia. Projects like this are championed by the leaders driving these initiatives across our homes. Hearing stories like Salome’s in Kenya – where caring for seedlings helped her send her first-born son to college – reminds us just how much of a difference these projects make to communities and biodiversity around the world.
At Oakland Care Group, we are committed to tackling climate change and restoring our planet for future generations. A huge thank you to the team at JUST ONE Tree for making this possible and for their impactful work.
Together, we can all make a difference.
