About You

Are you flexible, motivated and organised with the ability to work on your own and as part of a team? Do you have a welcoming and courteous manner and a genuine interest in older people? If so, then we’re interested in hearing from you.

OAKLAND GRANGE (Littlehampton)

Activities Coordinator
Working 30 hours per week, which is 6 hours per day over 5 days of the week to include one day at the weekend, alternate weekends. The hours of work are between 10:00 – 16:00. You will need to have the ability to be kind, patient and compassionate. You will need good English, numeracy and writing skills, along with strong organisational and time management skills, and be able to demonstrate your ability to understand and follow policies and procedures.

Laundry Supervisor (Weekends)
Working 8 hours per week, 4 hours on a Saturday and 4 hours on a Sunday. These hours can be worked flexibly between 09:00 and 14:00. For those under 22 years the hourly rates are £11.42 (weekend)s per hour and £12.42 (overtime). For those over 23 years the hourly rate is £11.92 per hour (weekends), and £12.92 per hour (overtime).
You will need to have the ability to understand the needs of the residents, be compassionate and work well as part of a team.

Care Assistants (Days)
Working 36 or 48 hours per week, working three or four 12-hour shifts to include one shift at the weekend. The hours of work are between 08:00 – 20:00. You will need to have the ability to understand the needs of the residents, be compassionate and work well as part of a team.

Care Assistants (Nights)
Working 36 or 48 hours per week, working three or four 12-hour shifts to include one shift at the weekend. The hours of work are between 20:00 – 08:00. You will need to have the ability to understand the needs of the residents, be compassionate and work well as part of a team.

OAKLAND COURT (Bognor Regis)

Care Assistants (Days)
Working 36 or 48 hours per week, working three or four 12-hour shifts to include one shift at the weekend. The hours of work are between 08:00 – 20:00. You will need to have the ability to understand the needs of the residents, be compassionate and work well as part of a team.

Care Assistants (Nights)
Working 36 or 48 hours per week, working three or four 12-hour shifts to include one shift at the weekend. The hours of work are between 20:00 – 08:00. You will need to have the ability to understand the needs of the residents, be compassionate and work well as part of a team.

RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UK

To be able to work in the UK you either need to be a British Citizen, have settled or pre-settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme, or a passport which shows either:

  • indefinite leave to enter or remain in the UK
  • no time limit to your stay in the UK
  • a certificate of entitlement to the Right of Abode
  • exemption from immigration control

To be able to work in the UK without any of these, you will need a business who has a licence to sponsor overseas applicants from the UK Government’s Home Office to be willing to offer you a role and sponsorship. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer sponsorship for anyone requiring a Visa to work in the UK.
